The game's main concept is that physical activity is rewarded by virtual energy, that can be used to attack opponents or defence against them. Interaction with the device mainly happens with gestures, which also stimulate activity. Gestures can be made for performing an attack (downward movement) or putting a shield up (rotating). A clear interface is provided with three dynamic statusbars placed on top of the device. One's thumb can be placed in the hole.
