. MOUSE EVOLUTION DESCRIPTIONThis study describes the development of a new computermouse, according to Eger's Evolutionary Product Development theory. In this theory six steps of product evolution are described and characterised. After evaluating the mouse evolution, I concluded that the next for this product was individualisation.
I used a ViP approach (Hekkert) to analyse the current product, it's interaction and context. Then I created a new context and interaction that was inspired on my vision of individualisation and the theory characteristics.
As a result, a shell mouse was designed that can be formed using heat. It can be adapted to one's hand size and favorite ergonomic working angle. The shell design introduces a new form language for individualised mice. PROJECTEvolutionary Product Development YEAR2007
